Posted 26th March 2013

April at the OOTB Drill Hall will bring the excitement of both spring and two enchanting puppet shows! Rapunzel (1st) and The Magic Horse (2nd) are set to delight children of all ages.

The connection between food, drink and creativity is an important feature of the OOTB Drill Hall. The Bavarian Beer Festival (12th-14th) combines a heady brew of quality live music, food, drink and entertainment. Don’t miss what promises to be a special weekend including a fine Bavarian Bruncheon.

The OOTB Arts Market (20th) is a wonderful chance to buy unique art and crafts directly from the artist, whilst the monthly Flea Markets (30th March, 27th April) offer fantastic rummaging opportunities at full to bursting stalls. In the background the Drill Hall Arts Cafe will be offering their delicious food and refreshments.

Fly Right Dance Company offer a Tea Dance (6th) offering some vital tips to those who want to dance, whilst Wiff Waff Wednesday (10th) serves up music, table tennis, great food and great company.

Featured workshops in April (13th, 14th, 21st) include the opportunity to create contemporary circus using aerial hoop, rope, silks or static trapeze taught by the brilliant Strangebird Zirkus.

April sees the start of the OOTB Drill Hall exhibition season, which kicks off with Place (22nd) -featuring a selection of work from Edinburgh Napier’s Photography degree course.
