Past programme

Over the past two years, #artcore has run a varied multi-arts programme at sites across the city, working with a range of partners.

In Spring 2015, we trialled a series of short projects working with young people, on varied, experimental studios, labs and happenings, trying out fresh ideas.

Then from Autumn 2015 until summer 2016 we ran a weekly programme of activities, working with over 1500 young people, supporting them to develop their own creative ideas and projects - from gaming to animation, from physical theatre to creative writing, from circus skills to comics! See below for more info and pics of what happened!

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
