Drill Hall Cafe Shop and Print Shed

The Drill Hall Cafe Shop sells a range of cards, jewellery and hand crafted items by Drill Hall residents and local makers including Zuzanna Dominak, Carla Edwards and Handcraft Lab.

We stock a range of limited edition prints in the Print Shed featuring work by recent ECA graduates Lydia Honeybone and Andrea Popyordanova, illustrators Emma Tudor-Bloch and Miss Katie Quinn

Also a chance to see the wonderfully intricate Moby Dick sculpture by the anonymous book sculptor whose work will be displayed at the Drill Hall until the end of the Festival, on loan from Rob Knight who won the sculpture at last year’s MacMillan Art Fair. Please come and have a look and help the sculpture to continue to raise more money for Macmillan by dropping a few coins in our collection tin. Thank you!

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
