LEIGH CHORLTON
ARTIST STATEMENT
My work is concerned with colour and word association and how colour changes the sense perception of words. It is also about the word losing its meaning to become the pattern, and also losing it's meaning through repetition, so there's a dichotomy there between giving the word a sense of colour but at the same time denying the word meaning through repetition.
