KAREN MCMILLAN

ARTIST STATEMENT
Karen McMillan specialises in portrait painting. Her work is heavily stylised, contemporary urban punk.

She studied graphic design at Telford College, Edinburgh, and her current work is strongly influenced by her background in graphics as well as by music. She paints mostly on a very large scale using oil and acrylics.

Karen is currently based at Out of the Blue Studios in Leith.
