ARTIST STATEMENT
Dalmeny Street Circus Space
t e POOKa is an Edinburgh based Arts Company specialising in world class fire performance, physical theatre, music, drumming & percussion, workshops and educational outreach programs across Scotland, the U.K and abroad.
We are pleased to announce that we have a new workshop and rehearsal space hosted by OOTB in the Drill Hall, Dalmeny St .
The space is available for individual and group hire.

Te POOKa is now running a series of Circus and Physical Theatre classes in the Drill Hall. Class dates and times are as follows:
FEBRUARY:
Club manipulation

Staff spinning

Thursday 10 th Feb: 7pm

Physical theatre

All above classes cost £4 per class and last two hours.
There will also be a Kids Circus Group covering many basic circus skills and discipline. This will be held in Duncan place community centre and cost £35 for a ten week course running on Tuesday nights from 6-7.30pm.
Classes for the future include Aerial Work (tbc), Acrobalance and Acrobatics , and hopefully a few workshops with out of town uber-practitioners too.
