TAKE A LOOK AT THE FACE
screen print portraiture by Shelagh Atkinson
There are only three days left of the Shelagh Atkinson exhibition of beautiful silk screen portraits of various literary and public figures at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall.
Following last years success of Thoroughly Modern Women at the
Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Atkinson continues to develop her
suite of screen print portaiture of characters such as Ian Hamilton Finlay, Jackie Kay and Janice Galloway.
She has exhibited Berlin, Bulgaria and Yokohama and is illustrated in booklets RedDiaper and Face, available from the Fruitmarket Gallery or Scottish Poetry Library Edinburgh. Further information at

The gallery is open from 10am to 6pm, until November 12 (not Sunday) and admission is free. |
