Xmas Bruncheon featuring Candythief, Carols and Key To Music

Saturday 10th December 2016
11.30am - 2.30pm, (£1 entry to Xmas Arts Market)

A cracking line-up for our December Bruncheon put together by special guest programmer Candythief who will also be hitting the stage! Come along for top-notch live music, great food, and excellent company!

Also a chance to get all of your Xmas shopping sorted at the Out of the Blue Xmas Arts Market! Over 50 artists and makers will be selling everything from painting and photography through fashion and textiles to furniture and design.

BBC Introducing artist Candythief, aka anglo-euro songwriter Diana de Cabarrus, first emerged in
association with Fife micro label Fence records. Drawing on alternative, acoustic, psych pop, indie influences with a touch of chanson, the songs are melody-driven, occasionally theatrical, hopping between styles, and coloured by unusual song-structures. On record and live, Candythief is refreshingly distinctive and unusual, with live performances featuring a line up of cello, guitar, accordion, mandolin, bodhran and sometimes loops. Key To Music
Students from Key To Music will be performing some fabulous arrangements of hip seasonal music arranged for guitar and vocal ensemble. When they get to the carols in their repertoire they would love you to join in. Get in the Christmas spirit with some of your favourite carols bounced out on guitar.

The cafe kitchen will accompany and complement the music with a delicious menu and the arts market will supply all kinds of gift ideas – so do your shopping in comfort with music and refreshments at the ready.
