Capoeira Angola

Two capoeira dancers practice movement at The Out of the Blue Drill Hall.

Every Tuesday 8 – 9.30pm
Current term: 8th January – 17th December 2019

Capoeira Angola is an art form that was developed by slaves in Brazil and which is played to the rhythms of Afro-Brazilian music. It combines martial art with dance, acrobatics with improvisation, and honest self-expression with light-hearted playfulness. Our sessions are suitable for anyone who is interested in learning this rich and rewarding art form, or anyone who would simply like to learn a little more about it.
