 The Theatre School of Scotland was established in 2017. We offer performing arts training for kids and young adults and offer professional practice for those wanting to continue in the industry as working adults.

The nature of the business is simple, to offer a safe platform for young performers to grow and develop their talent. We pride ourselves on training and developing Scotland’s next generation of talent.

Theatre School of Scotland schools prides itself on giving young people expert teaching, building their confidence whilst having fun and offering performance opportunities and casting opportunities from a young age.

All coaches have BA(Hons) in the creative arts or above and have worked professionally in the industry. Our classes focus on acting and performance training in TV, Film, Theatre, Commercial and voice-over. In addition, we host regular masterclass workshops led by professional actors and key industry figures such as casting directors and directors.

Junior: Ages 7 – 11 Thursday 6 – 7.30pm £35 p/m
Senior: Age 12+ Thursday 7.30 – 9pm £35 p/m
Intermediate: Audition Only – Age 9+ Wednesday 6 – 9pm £66 p/m

Intermediate: Age 10+ Wednesday 6 – 9pm £66p/m
Youth: Ages 3 – 7 Wednesday  9 – 10.30am £35 p/m
Junior: Ages 7 – 11 Saturday 11am – 2pm £66 p/m
Singing and Vocal Coaching  Day of Study Time Cost
Junior: Ages 7 – 11 Thursday 7.30 – 8.30pm £25 p/m
Senior: Age 12+ Thursday 6.30 – 7.30pm £25 p/m

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.
