Cook School – Learn a new Skill for the New Year!

Starting January 2020 the Drill Hall Cafe will be hosting cookery workshops for all ages and abilities. It’s a chance for people of all ages and skill levels to get involved, learn how to cook and bake for practical purposes or just for fun. We focus on teaching essential skills so you can take what you’ve learned home with you and adapt our recipes to what is in season or what you happen to have in your home.

The first workshops are FREE and take place on Sunday 12th of January with Baking Basics –  and Simple Soups on Sunday 19th January

A workshop for learning how to make a hearty seasonal soup from scratch.

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

    We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
