If you would like to be kept informed of future Arts Markets, please sign up to our What’s On mailing list. If you are interested in becoming a stallholder at one of our future Arts Markets, please fill in our Arts Market Stallholder Mailing List Form.

The Arts Market is a chance for artists, including Out of the Blue studio artists, to sell their wares and interact with both customers and other artists. The event is generally well-attended and the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere is enhanced by the superb refreshments available from the Drill Hall Arts Café.

Information for Stall Holders

Each stall includes a table (6ft x 2.5ft) and most have hanging space at the back of the stall. The stall fees are £47 for table only stalls and £51 for table and hanging space stalls. The hanging spaces consist of wooden panels behind the stall. The market opening times are 11am-5pm, with set-up from 9am.

The Arts Markets are promoted by Out of the Blue using full colour posters and flyer postcards.
Out of the Blue use a distribution company for the bulk of the publicity material but Stallholders are encouraged to put up a few posters, hand out flyers and send them to their contacts to help with the promotion. The publicity material will be made available for collection from the Drill Hall and stallholders will be notified when it’s ready for pick-up. The Arts Markets are also widely publicised online via events listings websites and social networks.

Over the course of 2022 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
