Strangebird Zirkus Aerial Hoop Courses

The classes: Lucy will teach a range of technique on the aerial hoop, positions, transitions and use of momentum will be built into fluid choreographies. 
Material will be pitched at a general level, a minimum of experience in static aerial is required, at least 6 months regular attendance of static aerial classes is recommended ( ie. trapeze,silks or rope). 

The teacher: Lucy Deacon is a performer, a teacher and a choreographer of circus movement. The majority of her aerial hoop vocabulary is self devised, much of which was researched  as part of the final year of her Circus Arts Diploma at Rogelio Rivel circus school Barcelona 2006-2007, she continues to investigate the possibilities of this aparatus and to share her discoveries.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.
