Two scientists, an undisclosed location and a secret to tell – they are in desperate need of your help. Are you the answer they’re looking for? Electrick Village are thrilled to invite you to the premiere of The Extension. This immersive, virtual reality experience plunges the audience into the heart of a story that questions our technological legacies and need for human interaction. In this one-on-one experience, you will see, smell, touch, hear and even taste the surroundings of the virtual world that is The Extension.

“…there’s nothing like the experience of surrendering to the unknown and letting yourself be guided into a strange new world. Over 25 minutes, you’ll be thrilled, unnerved, waltzed right off your feet…”

Electrick Village Theatre Company blend virtual reality technology with sensation-stimulating storytelling to create completely immersive experiences.

Over the course of 2021 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
