Twitter Art Exhibit is an annual international social-media-powered art exhibition and sale. Each year over 1,000 global artists each donate a postcard-sized piece of original art to be sold at an exhibition and then later online. For Twitter Art Exhibit 2019 (#TAE19) artist Sam Bannister will be curating the exhibition in the Drill Hall to raise funds for charity Art in Healthcare. Funds raised by TAE19 will enable Art in Healthcare to develop and extend its art workshop programme to benefit more people within the healthcare system. All Art In Healthcare’s workshops bring the power of creativity to people in times of need whether in a hospital, care home, community health centre, hospice or any other healthcare setting.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
