Celebrating Big Green Week with songs and simple dances honouring Mother Earth.
All are welcome at this gentle celebration of Big Green Week! Chloe Greenwood will lead simple songs and movements which are suitable for people of all abilities which honour the Earth which sustains and supports us. Everything is taught as we go along, so anyone can join in. You cannot do it wrong – there are no mistakes, only variations.
We will sing a song about the Willow Tree which teaches us how to be flexible, and discover how adversity gives us strength, like the willow which gets stronger with each storm. Some people see themselves as relations of the mountains and the trees and how we too can have that kind of gentle relationship with the Earth, and we will sing and dance that too, and other songs and dances that affirm our relationship with Earth.
