Buildings Manager
Out of the Blue Arts & Education Trust (OOTB) is on the look out for a permanent part-time Buildings Manager.
We’re currently looking for a part time (30 hours, 4 days per week) Buildings Manager with an interest in the arts to join our small creative team. The post holder will be the operational point of contact between OOTB and studioholders, hirers and contractors, primarily at the A-listed and vibrant Out of the Blue Drill Hall in Leith (and at our other Edinburgh-based buildings as required).
We’re looking for a person with a good level of skill and experience in all aspects of building management. Good interpersonal skills are also essential for this role as well as the ability to work on their own initiative and to manage and lead specific projects.
We are a charity providing studio space, rehearsal and meeting rooms in several buildings to artists and creative organisations. OOTB is at an exciting stage of development, owning and leasing several listed buildings. Reporting to the Facilities and Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the department with line management responsibilities for a team of part time Duty Managers.
Hours: 30 hours per week (0.8% FTE). Normally Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm) – pattern to be agreed.
Pay: £27,876 – £31,313 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience, with anticipated annual increases.
