OOTB doesn’t just sit in the community – we create it. OOTB is 25 in 2019. Throughout our history we have delivered a huge range of creative projects in collaboration with many thousands of people and multiple communities from across Edinburgh. We have created space for our work in a city where space is extremely hard to come by. Our work is educational and enterprising, delivering tangible benefits for everyone involved.
OOTB initiates projects and opportunities that reach every part of our communities, from young to old, from the expert to the beginner. For many of our participants our activities are their first exposure to the arts. We are proud to say that they are rarely their last. Indeed, many of our participants go on to develop an enduring relationship with our venues and activities.
We also work extensively with people who are ‘hard to reach’ by traditional methods of engagements and structures. We receive no core funding.
To help us as we reach the grand age of 25 and begin the next chapter of opportunities we would humbly accept a financial donation, however small.
There are opportunities to volunteer in the office, the café or with any of the exciting projects happening in the building, Dalmeny Street and beyond. If you’re interested to giving some of your time to this vibrant community, please complete our Volunteer Application Form.
We are unlikely to be able to get back to you immediately but we will keep your application on file and contact you as/when exciting projects come up at Out of the Blue.
