Out of the Blue are delighted to be hosting Creative Edinburgh‘s Creative Circles event this month at the Drill Hall! Creative Circles is a casual monthly meetup for creatives, techies, makers and freelance folk interested in finding out more about what’s happening in Edinburgh. Join us with your morning brew, share ideas and advice, make new connections and find your next collaborator.

May’s Conversation: The Joy of Illustration

Nicola Walker is the illustrator and surface designer behind Envy Row. Nicola uses her illustrations to help people find inner strength and to recognise and appreciate the joyful moments in life. The art Nicola creates reflects her humorous outlook and personal interests in exploring nature and human behaviour, with a particular focus on the feminine.

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

    We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
