WINNER – 2015 ADELAIDE FRINGE WEEKLY AWARD – BEST THEATRE
A monologue of sorts, a list of declarations about the universe.

Inspired by Tim Etchells’ Sight is the Sense, this is a darkly humorous show from Australia that asks: in a dying world, what is it to speak one’s mind?

a refreshingly experimental performance… surprisingly funny… provocative…an introspective experience” – Buzzcuts, 2015

One woman lists her worldly opinions…. about hot water systems, for a start. But also homelessness, the Lock Ness Monster, Russian diets, Kylie Minogue, the economic world order… and 515 other facts of life.

I think therefore I am…often wrong.

★★★★ ‘… an excellent performer… smart, fun and distinctly different’ – Adelaide Theatre Guide

★★★★ “an engaging… and thought-provoking reflection on how we navigate life” – Rip It Up

  • Donate

Over the course of 2021 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
