Out of the Blue Flea Market

Saturday 31st July 2021
10am - 3pm, pre-booking essential! Free tickets available via Eventbrite

We’re delighted to tentatively announce the return of the monthly Out of the Blue Flea Market!

We hope that the easing of restrictions will go ahead as planned and this month we will be able to return to some of our very much missed activities – including the Drill Hall’s monthly flea market.
Like most things it will be a little different and to help us keep on top of numbers we are asking customers to book a time slot for when they would like to visit the market. Book your one hour rummaging slot here. BOOK FREE TICKETS

There will also not be any stalls available to book as we honour the bookings from the last market we had to cancel all the way back in March 2020. If you did have a stall booked for then you will be contacted.

We’ll have a few less stalls to allow for wider aisles but no restrictions on the amount of clothes, jewellery, small furniture, music, books and bric-a-brac that stall holder can pile on per table.
Once you’re done with your bargain hunting, stop in for lunch at the licensed Drill Hall Arts Cafe which offers a delicious range of home-style cooking, cakes and more!

On the last Saturday of each month! *

*subject to Edinburgh being in Covid Level 1 or 0 on the date of the market

Information for stall holders

  • Covid-19 restrictions

There is currently an easing of restrictions in relation to education, hospitality, galleries, leisure and entertainment.

Out of the Blue have consequently re-opened for appropriately social distanced and much needed conviviality and activity.

We are now bringing back events, classes, workshops, and exhibitions in line with Scottish Government guidelines.

  • Cafe Opening Hours

    Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm

  • Donate

Over the course of 2021 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
