Join Freeze Frame this October for a special Halloween screening of the gloriously gory horror comedy Shaun of the Dead, with a menu inspired by the film, freshly popped popcorn, quiz and prizes.

Shaun of the Dead (2004)

Cast Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Kate Ashfield, Dylan Moran
Director Edgar Wright I 2004 I UK | cert 15 | 1h 39m

Shaun is 29 years old selling tvs by day, playing video games and drinking in his favourite pub by night. His life is stuck, he’s never left his sleepy town and his girlfriend’s had enough – but it’s not the end of the world, right? Nearly 20 years since this very funny, surprisingly gory, romantic comedy was released and we feel its time we showed it on our big screens for Halloween. The first of the Cornetto Trilogy – expect classic ice cream references in your pudding as you join us for a meal inspired by this classic film.

Tickets

  • Film + two course film-inspired meal: £22 (choose between starter & main or main & pudding). Please arrive at 6.00pm.
  • Film only + freshly popped popcorn: £7. Please arrive at 7:15pm
  • The doors will be closed during the screening.

There will be ice cream…and blood!

This event has now SOLD OUT!

This screening is supported by the Community Cinema Hubs Programme and the City of Edinburgh Council. Find out about other films screening as part of the Community Cinema Hubs Programme here.
