Introduction to Body-Mind Centering Somatic Movement Education

Friday 18th & Saturday 19th March 2022
10am - 1pm

Friday 18th March 10am – 1pm
Saturday 19th March 10am – 1pm
3 hours
£25 and £10 (low income)

These sessions are led by Katy Dymoke, Program director for Embody-Move, teacher and practitioner. We will explore some of the key principles and embodied approaches to movement and hands-on practices that are foundational to self development, emotional regulation, learning, healing and relating. In these sessions we will explore aspects of the senses and the skeletal system, and human development. These sessions are an opportunity to find out more about BMC, both as a taster for those new to the practice and current students.

The ethos of BMC® is to offer a place to connect deeply with the unitary nature of our being by diving into the body to find the many aspects of self and the roots of the mind, the source of emotion and to find pathways towards balance, healing and renewed potential.

BMC® and Body-Mind Centering® are registered service marks of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen used with permission.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
