JOIN OUR BALLOON.and.BUBBLE-FULL DANCE FLOOR and jump and shimmy to the beautiful live gypsy/balkan/klezmer music by the aaaaamazing LA TROMBA!!

Spin a hoop to unusual and exciting rhythms of Balkan Beats! *** Pick up a shaker / a drum / a guitar and join in with music making! *** Get some biodegradable glitter on your cheeks from our shiny glitter stall! *** Get your gypsy belly-dancing coin-belt on and pick up some moves from our noisy dancers! *** Enjoy Balkan Beats and shots of delicious pomegranate juice! *** Be impressed by a magical trick or two! *** Get a tattoo!!!

  • Covid-19 restrictions

    There is currently an easing of restrictions in relation to education, hospitality, galleries, leisure and entertainment.

    Out of the Blue have consequently re-opened for appropriately social distanced and much needed conviviality and activity.

    We are now bringing back events, classes, workshops, and exhibitions in line with Scottish Government guidelines.

    Over the course of 2021 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

    We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
