LeithLate, Leith’s annual multi-arts event is back, returning to a variety of different venues up and down Leith Walk on the evening of Thursday 13th June.  With art openings, live music, spoken word and film events over the 3 hours plus an afterparty featuring LAW, TeenCanteen, Sparrow and the Workshop and DJ’s from The Egg. Get your tickets for the afterparty here – only£6!

Out of the Blue is just one of a whopping 17 participating venues!  We’ll be extending our opening hours to 7.30pm to allow entry to our latest exhibition Exposed 13, showcasing the work of Stevenson College Photography Students.
We will be closed from 7.30pm – 8.30pm for the Active Inquiry performance and then open from 8.30pm with ping-pong and drinks until 10.30pm.

    The Out of the Blue Drill Hall is open for appropriately social distanced and much needed conviviality and activity.

    We are now bringing back events, classes, workshops, and exhibitions in line with Scottish Government guidelines.

    The Drill Hall cafe will be closed on Wednesday 22nd December and reopens on Wednesday 5th January.

    Over the course of 2021 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

    We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
