Launching this July 15th, Makers Marque is a new interactive makers market with stalls selling hand crafted goods and also giving you the chance to get involved and try something new.

12 – 1:30pm –  Berty B Lamp Shade Making workshop £15/ limited spaces/ everything you need supplied or bring your own fabric* to make your own lampshade! www.bertyb.co.uk – drop in or to be sure of a place email jodie@outoftheblue.org.uk to reserve.(*25cmx65cm of fabric minimum and a firm cotton works best).

12 – 4pm – Syrah Jay Felt Corsage (Drop-in Workshop) £5 per person (8 yrs +) – www.syrahjay.co.uk

1 – 4pm – Remode Collective – Jewellery making workshop in their studio https://www.facebook.com/remodecollective/ 

2 – 4pm –  Life Drawing with Tutor – all levels welcome, informal and instructive life drawing workshop with Leigh. Everything you need supplied. £5 for 1 hour/ £8 for 2 hours.

2 – 3:30pm – Table Top Printing for Kids (adults welcome too). Potatoes/ fingers, sticks and feathers all used to make marks with ink and paper. Could be messy. All materials provided.

    Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

    We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
