Meet artist-in-residence Lucy Grainge and discover the story behind her exhibition ‘Cross Your Eyes and Dot Your T’s’ currently on display at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall.
Colourful, lively and fantastically bold, Lucy’s work explores the shape of words and language through the lived experience of dyslexia and a wealth of first hand research exploring a different way of brain processing. ‘Cross Your Eyes and Dot Your T’s’ is a celebration of months of experimentation in the riso studio as the Out of the Blueprint artist-in-residence. Hear about the inspiration and influences behind the artwork, and find out more about the processes involved in creating her risograph printed pieces.
