Ocean Experience Exhibition [CANCELLED]

Saturday 18th January - Friday 27th March 2020, Exhibition Launch Saturday 18th January, 2pm to 4pm
10am - 5pm, Monday - Saturday

Experience the beauty of the Oceans through an exhibition of amazing images taken by photographers on the Greenpeace ship Esperanza during its epic voyage from the Arctic to the Antarctic throughout last year.

The exhibition will also feature the work of two local photographers, Malena Persson and Lee Live, showing the beauty of our local shores as well as the threats the destruction and pollution of our environment causes to wildlife.

At the opening event you can immerse yourself in the Ocean using a VR head set and experience your own journey to the Antarctic. A Greenpeace speaker will give a short presentation why it is so important to protect the Oceans for the climate and biodiversity.

You’ll also be able to sign our petition and write messages of support for a strong Global Ocean Treaty to turn 30% of the World’s Oceans into Sanctuaries by 2030. A chance to chat informally with members of our local group. Children can colour in our marine wildlife ‘protect the oceans’ pictures.
