Rob Daniels (Bootworks)

Tiny Live Art

16th – 24th August.

Bootworks Artistic Director Rob Daniels presents a new installation project recreating/re-staging various live art and performance works in miniature scale.

Some will be his favourite shows and artists, some taken from work at this year’s Festival. Part durational live art work in its own right, part act of documentation, part reenactment, partly an excuse to hang out and see the work of some amazing friends, peers and colleagues at The Forest Fringe.

Rob will be working on various models over the course of two weeks. There will be between 10 and 20 exhibited models in all.

Robert Daniels is co-artistic director of Bootworks, a collective based in the South East. Robert is also a Senior Lecturer in Theatre and Programme Coordinator for the MA Performance (Theatre) and (Theatre Collectives) at The University of Chichester. His work with Bootworks tours internationally and is supported by the British Council. The company are also resident at the ShowRoom Theatre, Chichester. www.bootworkstheatre.co.uk

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
