Sunday 10th November 2019
1pm - 3pm
Happening at Meanwhile in Persevere Square (behind the former Tram Depot at 165A Leith Walk)
Drop in afternoon to skate, try craft & drumming, share refreshments & meet locals.
Families welcome. All ages. Free.
Find out more about the former tram depot site that is a community space for you, including a skateramp and a shared garden space. Additionally, Cassandra Barron will be hosting a Book making Workshop featuring recycled materials (small donation welcome to cover materials).
The outdoor Meanwhile space, located behind the art-deco Tram Office across from Stead’s Place on Leith Walk, consists of six upcycled shipping containers housing artists’ studios, a skate ramp (by Leith DIY), a community garden and a number of wooden market stalls. The site is used by a variety of individuals and groups with a focus on gardening, play and arts and education.
