Xmas Arts Markets 2014

Saturday 6th and Saturday 13th December 2014
11am - 5pm, £1 entry

The Out of the Blue Xmas Arts Markets are back!  This year they are set to be even bigger events with an additional room of stalls, a Local Labels Music Fair, DJs, more Open Studios and Live Music courtesy of the Bruncheon, as well as a Mulled Wine Stall. Make sure to attend both Saturdays if you can, as the line-up of stalls on offer is completely different on each date. There is a total of over 100 artists and makers exhibiting over the two events, so you are sure to find some very unique Xmas gifts for everyone on your list and probably some for yourself. Saturday 6th December In addition to the Arts Market we are hosting the popular annual Open Studios event, offering you a glimpse behind the scenes and the opportunity to meet some of the Drill Hall based artists and makers and some of their work will be for sale. Open Studios participants are listed here. For the first time the Arts Market will also feature a small Music Fair organised by local labels selling their own releases and their DJ collective is playing tunes throughout the day to enhance your shopping experience. The Edinburgh Independent Label Market is a homegrown affair from the local music scene for the wider community in the capital. Featuring two labels from Glasgow and four from Edinburgh, with a strong cast of burgeoning local labels appearing: Hobbes Music, Hero Records, Glint Recordings, mini50, Tabernacle and Groove Line.
