Pyroceltica #artcore Circus

Pyroceltica is an Edinburgh based entertainment company specialising in Celtic fire theatre and circus entertainment.
The company performs locally as well as internationally, showcasing pieces based on Celtic myths and folklore, with a team of musicians, technicians and performers, using custom made props, costumes and original soundtracks.
Recently, Pyroceltica worked with #artcore on a project providing circus skills workshops to young people aged 16-24, culminating in 2 performances after an 8 week course, titled “Level Up”.
The course aimed to enable young people to realise potential in performing arts outside of the status quo of theatre and stage; incorporating a mix of theatre, dance as well as contemporary circus skills like acrobatics, spinning and clowning.
The first performance was held at full circle on Friday 7th July, with the second featuring at Out Of The Blue’s Bruncheon.
