Expo – Spring 2018: Edinburgh’s Market for Mid 20th Century Modern Furniture & Design.

The Drill Hall’s Mid 20th Century Modern Market returns this Spring 2018 with a fantastic line up of traders from across Scotland and the North of England, bringing you the best selection of Mid Century furniture and design under one roof.

From its origins in the New Style & Bauhaus through the plywood and plastic revolution of the ‘50s and ‘60s the Drill Hall’s Mid Century Expo offers a wide range of original designer furniture, restored soft furnishings, collectable glass, ceramics, fabric and art work.

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.
