Following the success of the Outside + In Exhibition in May, A Closer Look is a new and exciting exhibition of artwork and creations by the Drill Hall Artists.

From paintings and illustrations to jewellery, tapestry and embroidery, it’s a showcase of some of the talents and achievements of our resident artists and makers here at the Drill Hall and we’re delighted to share this with the wider community.

There will be a Launch Event for the exhibition on Wednesday 13th September, 6:00pm – 8:00pm. It’s your chance to come and meet the artists. The fully licensed Drill Hall Cafe will be open for the launch.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
