Leith Creative Bruncheon

Saturday 14th February 2015
11.30am - 3pm, free entry

A very special Bruncheon coming up in February, brought to you in conjunction with a new cultural organisation in Leith: Leith Creative.

Leith Creative is a cultural mapping research project currently being co-delivered by LeithLate and Citizen Curator, looking at Cultural Resources and Creative Industries within the Leith area. We’re keen that local Leith Creatives either living or working in Leith also feed into our research by submitting information about themselves via the following survey

Locals and creatives will get a chance to hear more about the Leith Creative project from Morvern Cunningham of LeithLate and Duncan Bremner of Citizen Curator. There will also be the opportunity to submit information to Leith Creative directly, as well as informally network with other locals and creatives in a relaxed setting.

Live music will be provided by local Leith musicians, curated by William Douglas. As always, kippers and scrambled eggs are on the menu, alongside a whole host of tasty Bruncheon treats!

Leith Creative is funded by Creative Scotland, the City of Edinburgh Council and the Leith Benevolent Society.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
