Bruncheon featuring Scotchka Republik, The Kitchen Stools & Key to Music

Saturday 9th November 2019
11.30am - 2.30pm, free entry

A super special Bruncheon to celebrate the 30th (!) anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down. With music, food and imagery from East and West, prepare yourselves for a treat of a day! With SCOTCHKA REPUBLIK; “a brand new band of well-travelled musicians from diverse backgrounds (including former members of Orkestra del Sol & Smash Kafana), playing energetic music from the Balkans alongside original compositions”. Plus our friends the KITCHEN STOOLS representing western styles, interspersed with new interpretations of the likes of Kraftwerk and other topical tunes from KEY TO MUSIC.

CURRY WURST and GOULASH, Kippers and Kaffee, seriously, what’s left to be desired?

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
