Drill Hall Mid 20th Century Market

A new and exciting market dedicated to all things mid-century launching Sunday 1st October and running quarterly thereafter this is the chance to get in at the start of what promises to be a popular fixture in the Drill Hall’s programme.

From its origins in the New Style & Bauhaus through the plywood and plastic revolution of the ‘50s and ‘60s to the kitsch and colourful designs of the ‘70s, we are bringing together the best of what Scotland and North England’s traders have to offer under the Drill Hall’s iconic Sir Rowand Anderson designed roof.

Featured traders include:

habiib Modern/Vintage
VM Furnishing
Iconic Vintage & Design
L’Atelier Vintage
Back & Forth

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
