Itinerary

Meeting at the Drill Hall, to start our retro ride, we’ll utilise a selection of cycle paths, tracks & quiet country roads to explore our East Lothian route. Pausing along the way to admire the view from Fa’side Castle, Tranent, we’ll then head to Gifford for a much deserved rest at the very welcoming Lanterne Rouge Cafe. Before returning to our start venue, for filled rolls, hot beverages & an afternoons entertainment.

Despite a long & rich cycling heritage, the Scottish retro scene, is yet to be realised. As such, we’re aware that vintage bikes, clothing & organised events haven’t been easy to find up here. So whilst encouraging participants to embrace the retro theme, you’re welcome to bring whatever you have.
