The first film about Gaza made by Palestinians living the reality of Israel’s siege and blockade.

This film tells the story of two young women of Gaza, Fida Quishta, the filmmaker, and Mona Samouni, an amazingly poised 10 year old who lost 29 members of her immediate family to Israeli rockets including her parents.

It is a story of resilience and spirit,
of struggle to maintain humanity in the in the face of  brutality,
and hope for the future in the confines of the prison camp of Gaza.

The cafe will be open prior to the showing. Fida will be available to answer questions after the film.
