Gen Z: The Future is Unwritten

In answer to the question, “can young people change the world?”, 110 young people from Strange Town’s eight youth theatre groups will share their large scale multi-artform project – theatre, movement, spoken word, film and sound – in a live promenade performance and multi-media event over 2 weekends….

Outdoor projection Thurs 17th, Fri 18th, Sat 19th June every 15 minutes 9pm-10.45pm:

Indoor Performance Fri 18th, Sat 19th June 5.45pm, 7.15pm and 8.45pm:

A mix of live, filmed, audio and installation- combining work from across our youth theatre groups made this year.

Online Fri 25th and Sat 26th June:

As tickets are limited for the live presentations there is also a chance to catch an online version of the whole event the following week including some bonus film content- perfect for family and friends who live further afield!

    We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.
