Little Shop of Horrors (1986)
Main Cast: Levi Stubbs, Ellen Geene, Rick Moranis

Freeze Frame returns this October and is happy to announce our Halloween special screening of Little Shop of Horrors!
It’s a horror/ musical/ comedy (not too many of them around) about an alien plant brought to life by the brilliant puppet master Frank Oz and the voice of The Four Tops’ Levi Stubbs. Audrey II, as aforementioned plant is christened, isn’t your average house plant and needs more than Miracle Grow to be happy and healthy. Rick Moranis is happy to oblige at first as this exotic evergreen attracts success and fame to his humdrum life, but at what cost?
With brilliant Motown inspired music and no CGI or green screen effects, this film is an idiosyncratic cult masterpiece of 1980’s cinema.

Join us for a plant inspired menu, a great film, freshly popped popcorn, quiz and prizes – dress up encouraged – kids welcome (but if they already don’t like the dentist you might want to skip this one!).
