Candythief
BBC Introducing artist Candythief, aka anglo-euro songwriter Diana de Cabarrus, first emerged in association with Fife micro label Fence records. Drawing on alternative, acoustic, psych pop, indie influences with a touch of chanson, the songs are melody-driven, occasionally theatrical, hopping between styles, and coloured by unusual song-structures. On record and live, Candythief is refreshingly distinctive and unusual, with live performances featuring a line up of cello, guitar, accordion, mandolin, bodhran and sometimes loops. King Louie
A precise mix of melody, groove, style and madness. Eclectic, original music to get down to. Lewis Gibson is regular fixture around Edinburgh town, a man whose vibe flows from the stage and into your quivering soul. Your feet might tap and your head may nod, you may even dance a little. You’ll certainly enjoy a set of irreverent blues groove from the man with the Midas Touch. Amen. lewisgibsonandthemidastouch.bandcamp.com

Sara Forsure
From the delta mainline of East Linton, Sara Forshaw draws inspiration for singing the blues from the likes of Koko Tyler and Bessie Smith. Taking simple chords and a grinding rhythms, Sara makes this genre her own with passionate vocals. Through Sara and the Snakes her music was given a punk edge, but here in this acoustic set she performs the music that inspired her to pick up a guitar way back when. Watch out boys, she gonna wang dang doodle all night long!

The cafe kitchen will accompany and complement the music with a delicious menu featuring kippers, morning rolls, mega-muffins and sweet treats galore!
