Bruncheon! featuring The Sound of Muesli

Sat 11th May 2013
11.30am - 3pm

Brunch and live music event at the Drill Hall Arts Café. Local musical talent and DJ’s creating a chilled out atmosphere alongside delicious home-made café food in the open space of the Drill Hall…

On Saturday 11th May Bruncheon! feat. the Sound of Muesli will be teaming up with Leith based theatre company Active Inquiry. Their event “Divided We Fall?” explores the theme of diversity through Forum Theatre. And we couldn’t have a more diverse Bruncheon line-up, oh no!

Live music this time will be 12:30-2:30pm. Bringing together a wide range of styles and ages, we start with Skotebi – Georgian Song Group who perform the ancient polyphonic songs of Georgia. Followed by youthful Frank Banter with their own tunes and mellow 1960s covers, then followed by Wildfire Women’s Choir. We’ll end with a showcase from students of Leither Pawel Piwowar’s Rock Street Academy performing jazz standards and other well-known favourites.

Over the course of 2024 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
