Young Edinburgh Writers

March - May 2015

Young Edinburgh Writers (YEW) is a group aiming to give young people in the city the opportunity to come together and meet other teenagers who shared their interest in creative writing. It takes place in the Central Library, George IV Bridge, Edinburgh.

YEW worked together with #artcore to produce MOON, a self-published zine of their own writing, poetry and illustrations. Each writer contributed pieces of writing inspired by the theme ‘moon’, and collectively they designed a small publication. Their zine was then printed with blue ink on the Riso as part of #artcore’s Out of the Blueprint.
