June News

Friday 28th May 2021

Out of the Blue has always provided space and opportunities for a huge range of all year round creative endeavours. We are extremely happy to see a programme of classes, workshops, events and exhibitions re-emerging at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall. Our June programme begins to take on an air of revival and includes two impressive and unique exhibitions curated by Out of the Blueprint and Edinburgh College. A supporting role for viewing exhibitions (and indeed all activities) is provided by the airy and convivial Drill Hall Arts Cafe, open and offering delicious snacks and meals.

The Out of the Blue public spaces can once more be booked for use by small numbers of people as outlined on our website Book a Space page.

Our lovely creative spaces are available to enable people to meet, teach, learn, rehearse, record, and plan within the current restrictions. We can help you get back to appropriately socially distanced activity. To view our spaces online and decide which space is right for your meeting or creative activity, visit our Book a Space page and make your enquiry.

Thank you for your support.

Over the course of 2021 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
