Leith Festival Bruncheon!

Sat 8th June 2013
11am - 4pm

A very special Leith Festival edition of Bruncheon. This month Bruncheon will be magically transported to Leith Festival Gala Day on Leith Links. Live music from Edinburgh Megaphone Choir and a jam by other Bruncheon regulars. Drinks and baking from the café stall.

The Megaphone Choir was formed in 2011 by acclaimed Irish artist Jesse Jones for her film ‘Against the Realm of the Absolute’. Since then, the choir has performed at several events including Edinburgh Ladyfest and as part of International Women’s day events at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in 2012. Expect an eclectic and vivacious performance of chanting, sami-joiks, gaelic mouth music and feminist verse!

Edinburgh is in COVID Protection Level 4 with current restrictions essentially returning us to a position similar to the lockdown of last March.

Our buildings will consequently be temporarily closed to the public until further notice, but we very much hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

    Stay safe and well.

  • Donate

Over the course of 2021 Out of the Blue will continue to offer opportunities for artists and members of the community to learn, participate and earn income.

We use the space we have developed in 6 buildings in Edinburgh for studios, workshops, classes, projects, exhibitions, social enterprises, events, clubs, music making, markets, a cafe and more.

Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.

We would humbly accept a financial donation, however small, in support of our work.
