Bruncheon featuring Candythief and Tiny Feet

A cracking line-up for our March Bruncheon, running in conjunction with the Edinburgh Fair Trade Festival, put together by special guest programmer Candythief who will also be hitting the stage! Come along for top-notch live music, great food, and excellent company!

BBC Introducing artist Candythief, aka anglo-euro songwriter Diana de Cabarrus, first emerged in association with Fife micro label Fence records. Drawing on alternative, acoustic, psych pop, indie influences with a touch of chanson, the songs are melody-driven, occasionally theatrical, hopping between styles, and coloured by unusual song-structures. On record and live, Candythief is refreshingly distinctive and unusual, with live performances featuring varying line-ups of cello, guitar, accordion, mandolin, bodhran and sometimes loops. Tiny Feet are an exceptionally dynamic duo playing contemporary music to suit your occasion. Comprised of Australian musicians Ben Bamborough (guitar) and Stephanie Rogers (vocals), the duo is up-beat, captivating, experienced and will entertain you and your guests.
Ben & Stephanie met during their studies, both completing a Bachelor of Contemporary Music at the renowned Southern Cross University Lismore Australia.
Their style is described as stripped back, soulful pop, and they play an extensive list of polished covers with their own spin. The duo like to construct sets to suit their audiences so the repertoire is ever-expanding, varied and also includes their own original material.

    Our all year round activity helps create the culture of the city, supporting the local economy and having positive social impact for the thousands of individuals and organisations we work with.
